Traditionally associated with Hindu, Christian and Muslim weddings, the mandapam provides a serene and spiritually uplifting environment for conducting rituals in the divine presence of the Goddess.

Apart from marriage ceremonies, the Kalyana Mandapam is also used for religious functions, temple-related events, cultural programs, bhajans, and spiritual discourses. Its proximity to the temple sanctum enhances the sanctity of every occasion held here.

Mada Padasala – A Sacred Centre of Learning

Mada Padasala is essential for preserving and passing on the ancient spiritual and ritual traditions of our temples. The Idivizhunnavila Temple Mada Padasala is the traditional residential school attached to the temple, dedicated to the teaching and preservation of Vedic knowledge, temple rituals, and classical Sanskrit learning. Rooted in Kerala’s ancient gurukula system, the Padasala provides spiritual education under the guidance of experienced Acharyas.
